Kiran Nadar Museum of Art is a welcoming place for all. We present the arts primarily from India and South Asia across time, with creativity, knowledge, and conversations. Through our collection, exhibitions, educational and cultural programming, we aspire to connect the arts, artists, and audiences.

What's On
Educational Outreach
Step into a world where art meets imagination. KNMA’s dynamic programs invite students and young adults to explore, question, and discover the magic of art beyond the classroom. Through interactive workshops, storytelling sessions, and tailored engagements, we create spaces where learners from schools, colleges, and NGOs can connect with creativity in exciting and meaningful ways. Together, we nurture the next generation of curious minds, thinkers, and creators.

KNMA's Upcoming Museum
The new museum, spanning 1 million sq. ft., is poised to become South Asia's largest art and cultural center, featuring a state-of-the-art building and serving as a vibrant cultural hub.
Where art, architecture, and life converge! The building blends modern rectangular forms with intricately carved balconies inspired by Mughal architecture, creating a structure that interacts with the space it is situated in.
This unique and iconic project was conceived through a limited, invitation-only international design competition and later commissioned to Adjaye Associates, a renowned architectural firm with offices in London, New York, and Accra.
The building is constructed as a self-cleaning white concrete edifice. The concrete mix used achieves an extremely low-carbon footprint, aiming to achieve a LEED Platinum rating through various innovations and the use of recycled materials.
Our Collection
The museum’s ever-expanding collection of over 15,000 artworks from South Asia features some of the most significant modernist and contemporary works. Now broadening its scope to include classical, folk, and tribal art, the collection spans historical trajectories from the 3rd century BCE to 20th-century Indian art, alongside the experimental practices of young contemporaries.
